The store I went to was fukking packed. It was cool to see a ton of little kids there. One thing I found interesting was how big the little kids were into Transformers and Ninja Turtles. I shouldn't be surprised because the Transformers movies have been a massive success but I was surprised that most of these kids were grabbing Ninja Turtles and Transformers comics and not Secret Wars #0.

I grabbed Secret Wars. I should have gone a little later. Last year I went in the afternoon and there were some bad cosplay hoes doin their thing.

You just go into a store and grab the ones labeled free comic book day and they're free. You go in and then come out. A lot of times they'll use it to start arcs or initiatives or just tell gateway stories
