Was that considered a comedy? lol no wonder we are getting so many mass shooting. Shows like this were the primer for serial killers

Ren & Stimpy was unique at the time (and since then as well) for sometimes going full into weird territority with little regard for whether or not it was more comedy or disturbing.

Ren Hoek, the chihuahua is absolutely insane... and not in an enduring kind of way like Deadpool or the Joker.
Half the time I don't even know what he is rambling about...

But he has the best quotables.

"We're not hitchhiking anymore...
We're riding."

Thats the kind of line a creepy little possessed kid would say in a horror movie trailer right before it fades to black and shows the movie's release date. :dead:
Pure unadulterated crazy.

Can't believe they aired this on Nickelodeon.

The 12th Dimension
Loved the show as kid. One hour Im watching Rugrats and Doug, then later on Im watching the weird ramblings of Ren and Stimpy, Log, and Cinnamon Toastman.

Rocko's Modern Life was another one of those cartoons that teetered the line with innuendos. Im positive theres an episode where Mrs. Bighead is a nudist or something involving "spanish fly".
:salute: To my Mom and Pops getting me a Ren doll and my lil bro' a Stimpy one.
