It always trips me out how "Long Kiss Goodnight" doesn't necessarily sound like a RZA beat

I can tell it’s a RZA beat, albeit different than most. It make sense that the bad boy team tweaked it some.

Sounds like it could live been a Forever beat to me.

RZA said the OG beat didn't even sound like the one that made the album.

According to the story he's always told, they scaled the beat down to their liking and took mad sh*t out that he had in there. So we need to hear the original version. It was probably crazy.

Original version was probably a lot better… bad boy always tried to pop-ify all their shyt.

Changing a RZA beat is like buying classical art and adding some different color paint to fit the color scene of your crib.

The synths ruin it for me. La, La by CNN is the superior use of the sample imo. But I'm curious what RZA's original vision was.
