"A thought for Christmas...If Jesus and mother Mary were alive today, they would, as Jews without security, probably end up being lynched in Bethlehem by hostile Palestinians.
Just a thought…...."

Absolutely unacceptable. You owe the Palestinian people and the entire Christian community worldwide an apology for this vile and irreverent message.

This is an absurd post. I'm Jewish and spent 2 months living in Bethlehem in the summer of 2011. I received nothing but the upmost hospitality from my ever-gracious Palestinian hosts.

I was repeatedly thanked by Palestinians for visiting the West Bank, since mindless propaganda such as the nonsense posted above, does succeed in turning people away.

What a joke this posting is.

the Israeli government and Israeli ministry of foreign affairs isolate Israel. They do not represent the Israeli public opinion, and as an Israeli who lives in Israel, I would like to say that I find this post offensive and I condemn it's writer.

I'm an Israeli Jew, and I went several times to Bethlehem and other places in the occupied west bank, and was treated with respect and hospitality by Palestinian residents. this racist post is evil, false, and just disgusting!

If Jesus were born today in Bethlehem, he would be palestinian. And he would be far more likely to be shot by friendly israeli soldiers than harmed in any way by hostile palestinians. Please keep posting your rubbish, you do an enormous favour to the cause of liberation of Palestine.

Let's be honest, if anyone showed up in any country claiming to be Jesus they would be laughed at, treated for a mental disorder or stoned/killed for blasphemy.

On June 27, 1844, Joseph Smith and his brother Hyrum were murdered by a mob in Carthage, Illinois,[32] while being held on charges of treason.[33] Because Hyrum was Joseph's successor,[34] their deaths caused a succession crisis,[35] and Brigham Young assumed leadership over the majority of Saints.[36] Young had been a close associate of Smith's and was senior apostle of the Quorum of the Twelve.[37] Other splinter groups, excommunicated from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, followed other leaders in their own interpretation of the Latter Day Saint movement.[38]

well I can't cosign this comment

it's more about how clueless and insular this country's propaganda is getting

Maybe I should clarify. The hard liners are more to who I'm speaking of. That's like I'm reading an article on Chuck Hagel possibly being the next SECDEF and what's one statement I see?

"The appointment of Chuck Hagel would be a slap in the face for every American who is concerned about the safety of Israel," said Matt Brooks, executive director of the Republican Jewish Coalition.
I've never seen a group of rabble rousers/provocateurs who consistently an effectively always play the whoa is me/I'm the victim card

Derek O’Flynn, a press officer for the embassy in Dublin, told The Lede that he did not know who had posted the messages. “People who post on the embassy Facebook page include embassy staff and also people based in Israel itself,” Mr. O’Flynn wrote in an e-mail. “We don’t know who actually made the original post. All I know is that when it was brought to our attention, we here in the embassy deleted it immediately and posted the new message in its place.”

So most countries have technology to track people halfway across the world, but can't track who made a facebook post to their site inside their orgnization? :beli:

What are the odds that the Facebook poster was Ambassador's wife Nurit Modai?
After all she is the one who writes all those crazy letters that the Irish Times continue to publish.

Monday’s episode was not the first time the embassy in Dublin made negative headlines. In June, Channel 10 published a letter in which Deputy Head of Mission Nurit Tinari Modai suggested to fight the growing delegitimization of Israel by going after expatriate Israelis that are critical of the government in Jerusalem. In that letter, she also wrote that those Israelis dislike Israel partly because they are “sexually confused.”

An exceptional statement by a senior Israeli diplomat is published for the first time today (Tuesday), on Channel 10 News. The deputy to the ambassador to Ireland, Nurit Tinari-Modai, has argued that pro-Palestinian Israeli activists who defame Israel abroad are acting from psychological motivation, including problems of sexual identity. Ireland is one of the sharpest hot-spots of the pro-Palestinian activism against Israel, and some of the people who take part in that activity are Israeli.

In a cable Tinari-Modai sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem she proposes a new strategy: work directly against those Israeli activists, humiliate and shame them. “It is possible to obtain names of the Israelis… you have to try and hit their soft underbellies, to publish their photographs, maybe that will cause embarrassment from their friends in Israel and their family, hoping that local activists would understand that they may actually be working on behalf of Mossad,” writes the deputy ambassador.

“The activity of those activists against the state is, in my evaluation, not necessarily ideological (!) but grounded in psychological reasons (generally of disappointment with the parents, [or] sexual identity problems) or the need to obtain a residency visa in one of the countries in Europe"

Jesus is a highly revered prophet for Muslims, who actually believe Jesus will return in the future. Why on Earth do they think that the Palestinians would lynch one of the most revered figures in Islam?:snoop:
