the first movie was a great standalone. it didn't NEED a sequel but they came up with something wholly original and raised the bar when it came to action scenes.

but after that the franchise went to complete shyt and all the excitement and originality was sucked dry. T3 was basically just a poor retread of T2 that fell wayyy short. i didn't even see salvation but it doesn't take a genius to know that it wasn't exactly a smash hit.

so WHAT are we still doing here? are they STILL just banking on everyone's nostalgia for those first 2 movies? are we gonna STAY drawing from that well until the end of time? MUST we bring arnold back? MUST we go back in time again and re-live the events of T1 and T2? MUST we also have another T-1000 clone? AGAIN!?!?!?

i dunno, if you wanna save the franchise... shouldn't you be looking to do something new? Like Cameron did when he set out to make T2?

I tapped out after the third one. First two are good but I think they're overrated. There's plenty of other Arnold movies I like better than T2.
