historically white americans are called WASP white anglo saxon protestant, other white people that immigrated from europe where _____ americans or jew, JFK is considered the first irish american president for example, at the time it was just as big a deal as obama being the first african american

I live in Philly, I came in to say the exact opposite, you'd swear my whole neighborhood was right off the boat from Italy, they don't even say Italian American it's straight Italian, meanwhile the Irish neighborhoods are straight Irish no Irish American etc. Are you from Philly or a surrounding suburb?
