Island brehs: How accurate was the acting in Top Boy?

I've been binging the show and now I'm on what is technically season 3 and when they show the characters in Jamaica I'm watching this shyt barely able to understand what MF saying half the time. This sound different from what we heard in Luke Cage.

The accent in Top Boy is Authentic. Accents you hear on Tv are non Jamaicans putting on an accent. Most Jamaican accents and I mean 99% of those on TV are fake. I cringe everytime I hear it. Shottas was pretty decent, and Ox from Belly. The rest is no bueno.
