Is women's wrestling really that popping?

I remember growing up, the only time I wanted to see women on WWE programming was if it were a bra and panty match or the occasional Lita vs Trish match. Now we have women main eventing Wrestlemania? Not that I'm hating, just trying to see if the appeal is real.

of course not during NJPW/ROH you could argue the worst watch was the women's match , the main event at wrestlemania was a botchfest, both becky and ronda are cringe on the mic, becky gets away with it when shes a heel. Sasha does put on good matches, but again she will botch like crazy and hurt herself by doing sh*t she really cant do, due to lack of strength or ability. Charlotte overall is the most passable , but even shes a bit at times


In the political/social climate that we are in, it is the right thing to do but realistically, most of their matches, barring a few dope ones, are thrash as well as the promos

Their feuds get booked the best and have actual heat not just matches back and forth. Most get time to build their characters up as well. So yeah women's wrestling is popping.
