Well in his defense a movie like the matrix has never been really done before and reading that shyt on paper, it does sound really far fetched.No that ship has sail. He has had quite a few bombs.
His movie choices seem suspect.
He turned down the matrix for wild Wild West
He's still top tier.
One of the few actors that can sell a movie strictly off name alone, there are like maybe 8 people who can do that. He was #1 for like 2 decades, now he might be like #3 or 4 or some shyt. That ain't exactly BAD tho.

Will has kind of fallen off in recent years (BO wise) domestically but he's still a HUGGGEEE draw internationally, which is why he can still command $20 million per film.
He was absolutely the best thing about Suicide Squad (along with Margot Robbie) and even though the movie got trashed, his performance was singled out positively
He's got a few....interesting films ahead. He's got that Bright flick coming out on Netflix. He's supposedly circling The Genie role in the Aladdin remake (
) and of course Bad Boys 3 is always on the table. As is Suicide Squad 2.
I PERSONALLY want to see him do BB3, and quit CHASING the Oscar bait movies and let the right project come to him.
