Is whole wheat pasta good?

A lot of people always say pasta is the worst thing to have when working out unless your an elite athlete or some shyt, but I just tried this whole wheat pasta and it didn't seem to bad:ehh:

macros:
1g fat
44g carbs
6g fiber=38g net carbs
7g protein
whats you guys take on this?

I can live without my pasta and rice. I refuse to ever give it up. I eat whole wheat pasta....but I also dont eat alot in general a day.. I usually only get two real full meals a day and snacks or light food through out.

Whole Wheat is cool, Spinach is tough tho. Mixed with some pesto, extra parmigano, shrimp sauteed in olive oil, and some cherry tomatoes. :whew: :damn:

edit: With two evenly breaded slabs of chicken parmesean drowned in marinara sauce?! :dead:

i'm Celiac (severely allergic to wheat) so i can't have anything with whole wheat flour in it.
but i'm a pasta fiend .... :sadcam: when i found out i had this issue about 7 years ago i started trying different kinds of pasta from Whole Foods. took me awhile to find the ones that perform and taste the most like traditonal pasta but now i only eat Brown Rice pasta ...Quinoa pasta and sometimes Corn pasta: my fave brands are De Boles, Heartland and Lundeberg (for rice) and Ancient Harvest (quinoa).
(p.s. Rice pasta's are WAY LESS heavy than wheat flour pasta's ...you can feel the difference in your body when you eat it. y'all may wanna consider giving up flour pastas completely and switch to gluten free pastas even if you aren't allergic....just a tip)

Wheat pasta is good money. Don't have heaps but 1/3 wheat pasta 1/3 fish/meat/poultry 1/3 vegs is a good recipe for weightloss.

dude anything made from white flour or wheat flour is gonna sit in your stomach like a rock and make you feel full. i swear the first time you try rice pasta(or any gluten-free pasta..bread...etc) you're gonna feel a MAJOR difference in how much lighter and less bloated you feel after eating the meal. :blessed:

Once you eat wheat pasta once or twice, you will never want the bleached white pasta again. It will taste too bland. There are actually some pretty good white whole wheat pasta too. I prefer to get the traditional brownish colored pasta. Less processing is better IMO.

BTW. Wheat pasta, ground turkey, Prego, Oregano, Parsley, red pepper flakes, and Ms Dash Herbs seasoning makes a spaghetti that will make you slap the hell outta ya moms. Tons of fiber, vitamins, protein, and very filling too. Watch the portions though.
