the more I read & watch about VR the more it seems it's the natural evolutuion of game design & technology, the same way the transition from 2D to 3D was

shyt is like this whole new undiscovered world of gaming that I can't believe i've ignored VR up until now :lupe: i'm saving up for one now

VR is like dreaming but ur awake and its in gaming form.

can't compare it to 2d games

but in terms of jumps for me personally I'd say its comparable to constantly playing Super Mario World on SNES for ur entire life then jumping to Mario 64 for the first time, its that same feeling u had first running around the Castle in Mario 64............. but x100

and It's a way bigger leap than 1080p to 4k was imo.

I'd suggest you start with Superhot to gain a proper perspective

Ehhh honestly it depends. I was overly hype for VR. My first experience being the Samsung VR and was not impressed
But then when I played PlayStation VR for the first time it was....
:whoo:
especially with certain games.

Still has a way to go but I like where it's at now

If you haven’t played modern VR games then you can’t give an educated opinion on this. VR can’t be read about, or watched online. You have to experience it yourself to understand it’s pros and cons. A lot of people are quick to make assumptions with no legitimate experience or information about the platform.

If it’s your first time experience HELL YEAH
Only problem is 99% of the games are basically tech demos

I strongly believe they should remake older games in VR , I only play my VR when I’m on a edible

I also suggest Rec Room VR it’s free , I usually just hang out with other people and troll them , one time we all started dancing when some breh was playing music

So basically yeah VR is a mindblowning experience but they’re really isn’t a lot of full blown games for it besides Skyrim

If they made older GTA games in VR it would print money

My brother was like you OP. He didn't see what's the big deal about VR, thought its overrated until he bought his son for x-mas and he tried it on and he was like :whoo: and was totally wrong about it. He said shyt is like you're actually in video game world.

I have PSVR. Before without PSVR, I played Resident Evil Biohazard on my tv screen and shyt was dope until I finally got PSVR and played RE: Biohazard in PSVR and :wow: after that I refuse and won't play RE: Biohazard on the tv screen, it must be in VR at all.
