Is Unbreakable a slept on classic?

Say what you want about M Night Shyamalan, but he did the dark, realistic superhero concept long before Christopher Nolan did it with the Dark Knight franchise. Dude should get some recognition for that despite his more recent output.

Great performances from both Samuel Jackson and Bruce Willis too..

I always thought the twist could've been executed better. The whole caption at the end that Mr glass was arrested and sent to an asylum was weak. They should've left it open but I don't think m knight knew he had a potential sequel on his hands at that point.
