Theres been a handful of quirky and interesting films like Hotel Budapest or Drive or some new shyt here and there...but outside of action movies, where is the original content? Even Rom Com's aint hitting like they used to.

Hollywood seems dead right now and TV is just sitting on amazing scripts

You need to step your foreign movie game up. Foreign movies (for the most part) been shytting on American movies for years. As long as subtitles aren't a problem for you. What genres are you looking for?

Oh and yeah, TV is soaking up all the new talent in front of and behind the camera. No reason to try and cram a story into two hours when you can do it across 10-13 episodes.

shiiiiiiid put me on.

Id prefer english, but i'm open to anything

I'll throw in some American movies you might not have seen, too:

"I Saw The Devil" (Korean thriller/drama)

"Oldboy" (Korean thriller/drama)

"New World" (Korean crime saga)

"Pan's Labyrinth" (Spanish drama/fantasy)

"High Tension" (French horror)

"The Orphanage" (Spanish horror)

"Time Crimes" (Spanish sci-fi)

"A Bittersweet Life" (Korean crime saga)

"The Man From Nowhere" (Korean action)

[REC] (Spanish horror)

"Martyrs" (French horror)

"Battle Royale" (Japanese...."The Hunger Games" kinda bit off this)

"The Raid" (Indonesian GOAT level action)

"The Raid 2" (Indonesian....THE GOAT ACTION MOVIE trust me)

"Stoker" (American thriller/drama)

"Predestination" (American :what: sci-fi....movie will fukk your head up)
"Coherence" (American :what: sci-fi....same with this one)

"Inside" (French horror)

"Trick R Treat" (American horror/anthology....kinda like "Tales From The Crypt")

That's off the top of my head. I'm not saying every movie on that list is 10/10 but there is some serious quality in there. Ask this sub-forum, I don't fukk around on the movie tip. I'll post up a few trailers in a sec in the next few posts.

Oh and I need to warn you, French horror goes hard as fukk. It's not like American horror. Spanish horror is more creepy/atmospheric usually.

Terrible thread. Indie movies and foreign movies have been on a rise. Horror movies are actually experiencing a resurgence in quality as well. Its a great time to be a movie stan
