I could legit see so many starts getting shytted on if the same type of sports fan existed in the 80's and 90's.

Dan Marino would've been treated like Kirk Cousins. Kareem would've been shytted on in his final years. It's like fans don't appreciate shyt. They try to live their lives through sports. Everyone gambles now. LT probably would've been suspended or handcuffed if social media existed when he played.

I just don't get todays society. Fans and the media make following sports un fun. There has to be an underlying storyline other than the actual game.
