fukk, Nexus was such a great idea. it was one of the few times the WWE had something legit awesome. and then they fukked it up.
BUT THEN they managed to rekindle it with Punk. I'll admit I marked a bit when Punk came out as the new leader of Nexus.
Of course Nexus was buried but I think the fact that we got Summer of Punk out of it means it was all worth it.

I can't call anything Nexus related a burial, unless you wanna count how it just dwindled down and ended with no real conclusion.
Cause the Cena shyt was just part of the story... everybody knew he wasn't about to actually stay gone, so...
And then when you think about some of the Nexus members, being in Nexus was probably the most high profile shyt they'll ever be a part of. So gettin' fukked up by Cena is no big deal. Justin Gabriel, Otunga, Slater, Darren Young- these dudes will likely never main event another SummerSlam (or PPV for that matter) for the rest of their careers. So even in gettin' their asses kicked by Cena, they got to do more in their first six months in the company than they'll probably do for as long as they're in WWE.

Nexus could've been great but the booking of it just proved that WWE did not know how to book Cena to have any kind of vulnerability and was willing to bury an entire roster just to prop the status quo...when Cena actually started to get more positive and over reactions when they had him losing and getting his ass beat.

Would have been fine if they didnt let Cena talk. The storyline would have had so much of a serious impact if Cena didnt sell it like it was produced by Hanna-Barbera
