Although it is a good start.....there is a lot of theory about whether design effects the economic outcome of people...and the consensus is probably that it won't......but at least it'll look good...
Nah...but I think design is important.....that whole 1940,50s, 60s housing project swag that swept all the major cities back in the day...with the dreary brick going 12 stories into the sky is probably on its last legs...and more friendlier looking buildings with amenities like the green roof, etc are coming into play....
Does make me think about some housing projects in Houston too...... and if design and amenities can somehow defy expectations and somehow align with a new spirit that goes against the generational poverty that seems to linger in some place....then even better
