Funny thing is this law doesn seem to apply to people riding bikes. at least thats what i've been told.

Bikes are the best of both worlds (driving/walking). You are much faster than when on your feet and use less energy. On a bike for the most part you can ignore car rules but you better be keenly aware of your environment. Towards the end of my living in Bk the cops were cracking down on people biking on sidewalks. It was silly.
When I was in Amsterdam I was blown away by the dominance of bike culture. On the streets it was bikes>pedestrians>mass transit>cars.

Been driving since I was 12........ that didn't look like a type of street where pedestrians should have the right of way in my opinion........ if that's the casethey are definitely fukking the people and should have an intersection/signal light there......Yes
