Is there any way to get my old MIDI keyboard to work?

I got a new Macbook a few months back and now have El Capitan, but my Roland Edirol PCR-500's drivers are only supported up to Yosemite.

Is there a way to get my keyboard to work on my current set up? Using a 16 pad controller is getting pretty frustrating.

What are you using? I believe most setups allow for a generic midi keyboard input so if you don't have a driver or cant support an official driver you can still get the basics like the keys. All the knobs and sliders might not work as designed but depending what software your using you can edit and manually assign

Running Ableton 9.0.6.

I'm sure it's fairly simple, I just completely lost any vague tech skills I might've once had.
