Is there any term worse than "redefine the position"?

You hear it used to football most, always concerning the QB. E!spn got another front-page article talking about how RG3 and Luck might "re-define the position before they're done".

I really can't stand that term. I can only think of one position my entire life that really changed in the game of football, and that was TE. Maybe you could make a claim for outside LB.

No one is going to re-define the position because the QB position has already been defined perfectly by countless other players. It's not a position that needs re-defining, if everyone played it like the legends did, they'd already have tremendous success.

Elite is almost as bad, they talked all day Tuesday about Flacco possibly being "elite"

And it's one of them exclusive terms used to shyt on other QB's. "Oh he`s good but he`ll never be an elite passer"

But once you win a ring you are automatically become elite.

It always happens, it's because white guys can't be athletic freaks, they just have to be real hard workers in that ignorant term.

It's just a lazy way for them to say they're athletic and can do more than one thing well. It's a crutch and it's a sloppy term.
