Is there any player that fell off worst than Gilbert Arenas?

i was just thinkin about this earlier this year when i saw him, granted he's coming off the bench so he's not used to that kinda role, but ya, since the gun ish he's been mentally out to lunch and it shows, sad too

but if you go look at his career stats the last 2 seasons he has 21.6 mpg and last year 12.4 mpg respectively had to be a scorer when you arent playing

The man formerly known as Stevie Franchise, maybe. Went from being a top PG to not being mentioned at all.

With Arenas, all that off the court shyt caught up with him. I have no idea what happened to Steve Francis, though.

Simmons:

When Van Gundy coached in Houston, he came to regret how he handled Francis, a similarly explosive guard who struggled with his competitive/reckless calibration. Instead of embracing the electric qualities that made Francis special, he steered Francis toward being more of a pure point guard, inadvertently compromising his game. The Rockets ended up shipping Francis to Orlando in their deal for Tracy McGrady. His career was never really the same.

:damn: ^^

It's sad watching these dudes fall off the way they do.

Remember Latrell Sprewell? Never really was the same after choking PJ out. After a respectable run (sometimes, great) with the NYK, he was suddenly out of the NBA, citing not being able to feed his kids on $7M a year. :scusthov: Then a few years later, yacht auctioned off and home foreclosed. I guess his situation was a little different because my last memory of him was that he was still able to play but still...:sadbron:

Vince Carter

Brandon Roy (not his fault but still)

The Rockets probably hold the title for "Most Players Going From Top 10 to Not Mentioned At All" with Francis, TMac and Yao just fading into obscurity :(

VC gradually fell off, He spent most of his career in toronto, and came to jersey and lit it up

Now his cousin T-Mac is probably the greatest fall off I've ever seen

He went from second best player on the best team in the NBA, tradeable straight up for Carmelo Anthony, to right now being shopped for beasely and picks :dead:

It's a shame because if you never saw them play in their prime you might not think they were ever that great. They were. These dudes were crazy. They were stars, man. Makes you appreciate the old heads that have consistently put in work over the course of their careers.
