Ha, I've actually been rewatching the show for the last 2 weeks.

Dark Tournament and Chapter Black are GOAT level arcs. Toguro is one of the best villains in any anime.

It's a shame Yoshiatus Togashi rushed the ending, though.

I'm on the 3 Kings arc and yeah, I really wish this arc wasn't so rushed. It winds up feeling kind of disjointed and detached from everything else, even in the anime...if they had more time to flesh things out, shyt would've resonated more.

I watched it as a kid on Toonami but I saw it in full the first time this year. There's some disappointing moments that can't be overlooked like the final arc and the lack of character development, but it's still a really good classic.

But the answer to the best anime that is rewatchable and never gets old is Gurren Lagann
