Is there a horror movie soundtrack in 20 years that comes close to 'It Follows'?

I liked the movie ok enough.

But anybody that saw can agree the soundtrack was the best thing about it.

Probably one of the best since the 80's















Is it by default though? With few exceptions it seems like movies in general don't try for memorable soundtracks.

The only other ones that comes remotely close is Under the Skin and Let Me In;

It Follows, Let me In, and Under the Skin bring back powerful soundtracks in horror films like the Goblins did back in the 1980s for Italian horror/Giallo

Also, Berberian Sound Studio as well
