The first half has a lot of action and is kind of fukked up but upbeat, the second half is a lot slower and almost a completely different movie.
It's basically updated film noir. Morality, fatalism, predestination are all explored on some "sins of my father" type shyt. So if you want to get deep with the movie that is there for you. But whatever is at the surface is good too.
I think it's worth the watch.

As of now still one of the best flicks I've seen this year. I can see why its ambitious setup and execution isn't for anyone, but I loved it.

the switch in tone was just too drastic for it to not feel like a completely different movie.

good movie and gosling does his too cool for school gosling thing for the time he's in it, but in the grand scheme of things his story arc is not the main one in the film. so if youre going to see it, mainly for him, then you'll be a bit disappointed.
