Is the percentage of African Americans who own homes higher in red states or blue states?

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Red States. Also the same states that have the poorest, least healthy, least educated black people. Especially when they're compared to their peers. When the poverty line increases I just want to know who these c00ns will blame.

Education or should I say, Knowledge is free. It's not being deprived of anyone. The level of anyone's education is determined by your will or desire to learn. If you value education, then you will be educated.

Wages in red states are lower, but if over half the black people in Mississippi own a home/land or have a mortgage, that says a lot. 60 years ago, only 38% of black people owned property or land. So in 2024, the fact that less black people owned land than in 1964 is :snoop:

I've seen my older cousins and uncles inherit homes from their parents and all sell it off to white people over the course of my life, so i believe this.
My fam literally used to own 7 houses in my neighborhood, and now own two.

If you look year over year, that percentage is diminishing. Not only because of lower black wealth but because affluent black people are leaving the South.

At one point over 50% of black people owned homes or land. Now it's at around 46% which is still too low. over 70% of white americans own land or homes. We should at least be in the high 50's or low 60's at this point.
