so a mac with a core i9 and 5500m will be decent for gaming?

im just a casual gamer
it'll be alright.

but for the price you paying then alright aint gonna cut it for most people.

you seem dead set on apple. what will you be doing besides gaming since you said you only casual game?

it could be the case where you get a cheaper M1 Mac and pair it with a console instead of dropping 2000+ on a Mac laptop with okay gaming capability.

depends what you want to play.

Emulation for retro games I assume would be good. But beyond that :francis:

the problem isn't the CPU. macs aren't good for gaming IMO unless u wanna go thru the playstation app and play remotely.

Eh...Its okay if you are doing light gaming, When I had a M1, I used to play WOW in fair settings, some of the Mac compatible games ran straight. Overall, you could scratch the itch, but for the most part I wouldn't play games on a Macbook by any means.

Yes, but no. They’re tied to Macs and macOS is not a good gaming operating system. You will regret your purchase if you get a Mac for gaming.
I dont game on my pc that often. I want to change my current pc bc ive had it for 6 yrs.
