the past month has been crazy with the inflation

my most recent grocery run most of the items got bumped up 1-3 dollars. added about 20-25 onto a light trip

what's the reported national average right now, 7%?

knew it was coming eventually because the stuff that allowed 08 to happen didn't actually get fixed, but it seems the last 3 months things have really accelerated

No. Inflation is high largely because people are spending crazy money and the supply can't keep up (production/manufacturing/supply chain/etc) due to covid related delays. The economy is incredibly strong right now.
