props..

and to answer the thread title: no

shyt like this:

Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is an abomination.(Leviticus 18:22 KJV)
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.(Leviticus 20:13 KJV)

Some barbaric, 2000 year old outdated shyt.

Yet people who believe in the bible like to ignore all the horrible things contained within it.

Someone posted this vid on facebook:

and these are some of the comments on it:

Listen man, there are whacko's on both sides of anything, but let me go ahead and say that no one in their right mind in a church thinks like that. So I guess, no, that is not real life.

Yet it is contained in their holy book.

We focus too much on other people's sins. Thats between God and the sinner. Our job as Christians are to continue to spread the word of God's love to everyone, despite what their sins are. It makes me very angry to see these a$$holes giving us bad reputations. We don't have to say "well, I condone it" but we should say "ill never stop reaching out to them".

of course it's still relevant. it's impact on literature to this day is undeniable. it's referred to in all sorts of media and is a great influence on western culture. if you don't know at least the cliff notes to the bible, there's probably a lot you won't understand about people cause it has influenced so many cultures around the world.

so yeah, it's pretty relevant today.

i'm tempted to switch back to worshipping the old norse gods

jesus said he's rid the world of wicked people
odin said he'd rid the world of ice giants

i don't see any ice giants around

Jesus never said that...he promised to save us from original sin and allow us an eternity with God if I remember from Catholic school.

Was witty for those that wouldn't know what Jesus promised lol.

Jesus asked God to forgive wicked people and let them see the error in their ways he never promised to be a warrior who would come in and slice up bad guys.
