I know they remastered the graphics but did they remaster the trash battle system

You gotta be a fan of the original to appreciate it, it seems.
Getting mixed/negative reviews on Steam off the graphics since it looks like the only thing they really did was update the character models for the party members and left everything else in the ps1 era.
It's my personal fave FF of all time and I got hundreds of hours simply playing cards in it so I'll like it....if you didn't before or were on the fence, watch some gameplay footy and make the decision.

I’m coppin regardless. I enjoyed 8 a lot when it originally dropped. I liked the battle system, the story, and the characters.
