Is Rose Hill Safe?

Hey everyone, so after having a personal incident happen, I won't be starting school until January. My friend invited to live with him at Rose Hill so we split rent and it would cost us 325. My ony insecurity is that he is living off campus while attending Fordham Rose Hill campus and I'm concerned about how safe the area is. The apartment is about two minutes away from the campus.

In my experience anything with a "hill" in its name is bad. I dont spend time in the bronx, but a lot of melanin deficient cac go to Fordham and I dont hear about them catching a 150 or getting thrown infront of trains. Are you a man or a women and you pay 600$ a month in rent?

Well your total rent is less than a quarter of what I pay for rent for a 1bdr so it can't be all bad. I think there is a 2 or 3 stop on that road.

nah, I just checked its the 4 which is express, there is also the b train.
have you been there before? can you? theres a few nice parks to chill in at night as well.

all jokes aside youll be fine. the city is a great place for a young guy. the city is much safer than it was when I was a kid.I would live in the Bronx, but I dont have to. Maybe radio will come through and drop a gem. If I were your age,I would take the opportunity ina heartbeat.
