It's def legendary, destined and eerie at the same time. It's a shame 21 doesn't get the acknowledgment he deserves, he's a player ALL generations of baseball fans should know about.

You'll hear there will never be another Jordan, Ali, Jim Brown etc...but there will NEVER, ever, ever be another Roberto Clemente.

An All-World Athlete, World Champion, and most importantly, a true caregiver to those in need.

Think about this, he didn't die on a plane to save his ppl in Puerto Rico, he was looking after Nicaraguans, he cared about everyone.

I read his story in 2nd grade and was stuck since.

Dude made the Pirates get black and latino players....THEN they said it was the first time he relaxed. Dude was cool with MLK and chilled with him in PR.

He is on another level of athlete. The ability, which is rivaled by few, takes a back seat to his life.

I actually got to talk to his widow, Vera, on the phone about a year and a half ago. My mom is cool with her and calls her every mother's day and one year I went to pick up my mom and she just handed me the phone. Really sweet lady.
