Is “demonic” the new trend in rap music, brehs. :demonic:

So lately it’s been a lot of memes online about Rappers being “demonic” or their concerts being something like satanic rituals or whatever....look it up :hubie:

We all know Travis Scott had a concert where people died, etc.... and rap concert is more like rock and roll shows than ever just YouTube Playboy Carti last concert :whoo:.

Plus Lyrically a lot of rappers out now been having questionable lyrics, and a lot seem to mention “demons” or demon time (or they used to) as slang. It’s like demons are cool.

Can’t forget lil NAS X who might be an actual Demon :scust:

and most recently Doja cat caught some flack about her new video and image.

She’s most likely just a troll though :manny:

Now I just seen this post about Lil uzi and it’s kinda trying to dispel the rumors of him worshiping Satan :jbhmm:

Anyways remember back in the day Rock music had that label.

Times have changed. :yeshrug:

It’s funny though the most successful rappers always been the ones promoting a darker side

I’ll never forget when Tyler the creator first came out and blew up “666” and upside down crosses was all over their merch...... but I digress:youngsabo:

The lone outlier is Kanye who went the Christian route and it actually saved his career :blessed:

I get what you're saying, but really what's happened is that Hip-Hop is like where Rock N Roll was in the '80s, where you had all these Satanic rock groups that were really just trolling for attention.

Ozzy Osbourne wasn't even a Satanist, he was a member of the Church of England

This is what happened when Hip-Hop stopped talking about "keeping it real".

There used to be a standard in Hip-Hop where even if you were a "studio gangsta", there still had to be a level of plausibility to what you were doing & saying.

To me, the turning point was when nikkaz literally let a correctional officer pretend to be a drug kingpin.

Until I see rappers biting the heads Off bats and pissing on Bibles, then no.

Don't blame Hip Hop on the fact that Thugs have internet access and can make a song and video on a IPHONE at the touch of a click(Kay Flock, B-Lovee, Chief Keef, Tay-K)

There are all types of rap.

If u don't like Hip Hop, go to Church.

Or do what I do, listen to the older stuff.

I was at work listening to Crucial Conflict, OutKast, and Pastor Troy.

It's a gimmick and it's not even done well like some 70s/80s rock and metal. Jimmy Page was so deep in Aleister Crowley shyt that David Bowie stopped fukking with him, for fear of his mind being read. There's zero real dedication to that shyt in rap, it's just pure aesthetics from white people at the label.

It's nothing more than maximum engagement to get you to click or stream. Violence, sex "satanism" etc. And people fall for it every time.
