NES, Genesis, SNES were before my time.
If portable systems was allowed. PSP, and GBA would probably make the list (GBC was a gem as well).
When i was a kid i always picked Xbox OG over PS2 because the graphics were better/sharper. Looking back i skipped a lot of PS2 bangers. I got the PS2 a year after the Xbox OG released. The PS2 was just for GTA, and WWE games. Everything else like shooters, sports , fighting games was Xbox OG all the way. Xbox OG is slept on.
Xbox 360 & PS3 was the golden age of gaming imo. This gen had some amazing games but there was a lot of BS, and fukkery from devs. PS4 is #6 though. Definitely could be in someones Top 5. It might be in mine once i finish catching up on games i haven't played yet.
Dreamcast was great, and slept on. But not Top 5

SNES(childhood and some of the greatest games ever super metroid, DK country, Mega Man X, legend of Zelda, SF II turbo)
Dreamcast (just a great console with great titles I played over cousins house like 2K, crazy taxi, r2r, Quake arena)
