It wasn't that popular. Fresh prince was a sitcom and and really good one. I never understood if Moesha was suppose to be a comedy or a drama.

On rewatch it’s much better than I remember
It wasn't as popular as the Fresh Prince, but Moesha had a very successful multi-season run across 2 networks, then syndication, and now Netflix.
Its a good show until Ray J becomes a main character and they completely retcon the Father

Yeah stop at the last season tho. It all falls apart and it’s just shyt. Even tho they bring Kim Fields little sister as a reoccurring character (and the mean girl arc 
) you see Mo getting into dumb situations as a college student that you’d think she’d learned already when she was in high school.
