Also can't forget about Living single. Living Single is better than the Wayans Brother.

The Bernie Mac show is criminally underrated but a ton of people missed it because of American Idol fukking with it's time slot.

To be clear I love the shows you mentioned but you can't talk about great black sitcoms and not bring up The Cosby Show and A Different World.

Sanford and Son is about the same caliber as Martin or the Wayans Bros. Good times fell off once they killed off James. They definitely deserve mention though.

Roc is another show that had a great but brief run. Fox has canceled some great shows when you really look at it.

I'd argue Martin could rank third behind Cosby Show and A Different World. In terms of individual moments Martin had some of the funniest in T.V. history. Martin had a lot of downright bad episodes though (and not just the ones in later seasons).

The first season of A Different world was straight up wack, but from that point on shyt was piff. Series still holds up to this day.

Cosby Show is just the King, shyt was consistently funny, had memorable moments, high ratings, critical acclaim won awards. And I don't want to hear any of that "nikkas in the hood wasn't checking for the cosby show" bullshyt because Nielsen data showed it was the top ranked sitcom in black households while it was running.
