There's actually nothing wrong with his character. Yes, some black people do smile and enjoy life, shocking isn't it

Only thing he needs, as a LOT of characters need, is a good feud. He thrives off good competition and the fans get behind his matches all the time even without a drawn out melodramatic storyline.

Imagine Kofi swerving on the crowd cutting his dreads off and taking that accent back up blaming the fans for persuading him to deny his ancestry and over the next few months that dude coming out looking like a 3rd world refugee.
