Why every bit of expose of the business seems a bit taboo, when wrestling in general corporate work and shoots into the friggin storyline:francis:? For instance, the Ronda/Becky man chick twitter shyt. Like Ronda went 0 to 100 by basically saying the "F" word:picard:. Once this happens, it opened doors for not only the "man" to unload the clip, but the wrestlers on Twitter to do the exact same thing:dwillhuh:. Yet, in the storylines from the 90s up into current days, reality seeps into the fake sports:

Props to @Jmare007 for pointing this out:martin:

Like are we keeping it real or keeping it in the script?

Old school carny shyt

:dwillhuh:Like this dude really wanted to keep the business intact but do some bullshyt like this...

Like why this business still thrive on keeping things as fake as possible, but thrive on keeping it real:comeon:? At least LU and even DDT knows the shyt is fake and continues to make it as bat shyt insane as possible. This Becky/Ronda shyt just looks more foolish in the light because marks are eating it up but it just looks downright stupid in the light.

Thoughts on the subject:jbhmm: Is kayfabe needed nowadays or can we just stop with the bullshyt and just allow the realism to overshadow such a weird industry?

Wrestling should transition completly to storyline based television at this point. Just like Lucha Underground.

I'd keep the sports presentation for the wrestling itself but everything else (storytelling, character development, the overall formula of the show) would be similar to a movie with elements of reality tv. I would try to create an immersive universe.

WWE could create a universe similar to Marvel or Game of Thrones if they were smart. The have the ressources, brands and the roster to do it.

This breh gets it. Dude they have over 5 fukking semi promotions within one and they don't know how to make a stellar storyline without lame Twitter shyt:francis:. Imagine if Chikara had that roster with Vince's clout...:whew:Jesussssssssssss Christ:krs:. Imagine what LU could do with a heavy roster and the man power like the WWE. A rival promoter that so happens to be Dario's long lost brother:ooh:. It's like kayfabe should be held together somewhat. Yes wrestling is fake but WTF:mindblown:?!?! How UFC got a better WWE'ish type of fukkery than the WWE and they are suppose to be "real":wtf:

I've noticed that female superstars have been the worst offenders of breaking kayfabe in the last 5 years. Roman and Braun caught shyt for sticking with each other in a foreign country but none of these girls don't even try to maintain kayfabe outside of TV.

they should be like that dead product lucha underground? :mjlol:

It's dead because no one who still has cable has El Rey Network and they don't get funding. Season 1 and 2 of LU was some of the best wrestling-related media since 2001.
