I don't vote for president, vice president, the mayor nothing at all :obama:

I just believe especially voting for president doesn't make a difference at all the government do what they want and it's to much behind the scenes bullshyt politics :shaq2:

To me people always vote for a president then when something goes wrong the finger is pointed at them like

nowadays, voting is like choosing which giant cock of oppression you want in your ass.

No such thing as a government, corporations actually run this country. :smh: at anyone who thinks their votes actually matters. Not trying to sound all illuminati/conspiracy but theres a behind the scenes group who actually decide who will become president, what laws get passed, etc.

It's up to you. It's part of democracy. You have the right to vote. If more people vote for one candidate than another candiate, that person wins. If there's enough apathy, the non-popular or unwanted candidate could win. There was a time when black people and women could not vote.
If it looks like a landslide victory for one candidate, I'll still vote.
If there's just one candidate for a position, town clerk or something like that, I'll still vote.

When it comes to the president, I still find it odd that we don't directly vote for the president/VP position. When a candidate wins, a person from the electoral college will then cast his vote for the president. So the weird thing is that the person in the electoral college could be a Republican but he'll vote for the Democrat and vice versa. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electoral_College_(United_States)

This going be the first election I can vote in.

Here's why I most likely won't vote:

  • not into politics therefore I really dont know what either parties stances are other the the obvious (dem v rep)
  • A part of me believes there's more than meets the eye (basically who we think is running the show really isnt running the show)
  • And fukk waiting in them long ass lines
