maybe, maybe Skip Bayless thinks Troy was a homo. Maybe Troy said he was going to break Skip's face for saying and writing this shyt. 
I never heard that before and ima huge Cowboys fan. But this was also the days before the internet was prevalent and everything was on youtube an hour after it happened. It wouldn't surprise me if some didn't like Troy. He seems like the kind of person to grate on your nerves after a while. But they still got a dynasty so he was doing something right.
skip and troy had beef. skip said aikman was gay. troy was well liked. there was an interview on the radio here in dallas with aikman saying he wanted to beat up skip if he ever saw him in person.

From everything I've ever heard, Troy was one of the most liked & respected Cowboys
I can't believe Skip would even say something like that he wrote about Troy being well respected and liked in the locker room, all you need to do is listen to Moose reminisce about the old Cowboy days to know he was cool.
Not all the way cool in that Troy had alot of Kobe like tendencies in that you probably were not going to see him outside of practice and game days but when there were team functions or player only get togethers Troy was present and acted like one of the gang.
Troy could have Skip easily dealt with if he really wanted to he probably just doesn't care to have anything potentially comeback to him since both of them are very visible figures but Skip is more hated among that era of Cowboys than Troy could ever be. Skip 3 books about them had alot of suspect info that Skip wrote as if he eye witnessed it but alot of players know Skip was told more things than he was present for.

Skip went back to Troy's UCLA days trying to dig up some dirt on Troy being a homo and came up empty so basically he had to write that Troy "might" be gay because he couldn't find a reliable source.
Skip acts as if he was the only reporter around during that time the Cowboys were ALWAYS in the media, they had pretty much 2012 level of microscope back then. I remember when Playmaker drug habit was starting to get out of hand, and there were rumors from local media that Irvin was constantly spotted buying drugs and like a month later he was busted for it, so there's no way Troy could have been a fakkit and only Skip could know, shyt would have been revealed by now.
