Is it true Ric Flair and Dusty Rhodes had beef back in the 80s?

I remember reading somewhere and also hearing that Ric Flair and Dusty Rhodes had beef. They both were playing politics in the 80s, now see I'm a fan of both( Its just thats never talked about, Its a double standard, its fine to complain about Hogan using politics.).

Is any of that true and somehow Eddie Grahams father was in the middle of it and killed himself over it(later on they blamed it on alchol).I remember hearing this on a shoot interview years ago, and it was so raw.

Since i'm an old school fan i'll try and tell you what the fukk I know or heard:

1. Flair and dusty had beef but it wasnt "i'm gonna kill you" beef, it was more competition on who was the flyest, harley race said dusty and flair used to compete on who had the most expensive robes and shyt

2. Eddie Graham as I understand killed himself because florida was going under because dusty had basically raided the locker room and took all his stars to crockett, plus eddie was involved in some underhanded real estate thing or something as well

Yeah honky fukked dibiase out of the wwf title because he wouldnt drop the ic title to savage, so they gave ted the million dollar belt as a consolation.

When I watch classic clips like this it just reminds me of how so many vets like Savage, Dusty, Flair, Hoegan, DiBiase, Snuka, Piper and ect. inspired so many to become wrestlers and become trill themselves

I ask you who today are inspiring the kids to become a star? That "Ryback Roolz" foolishness or Cena selling Fruity Pebbles (this nikka is legit doing it too) ain't going to inspire the youth of the nation today

It was dikk Slater

Flair, Slater, Dusty Rhodes and somebody else where sitting at a table eating and Slater had some fries on his plate. Everybody was helping themselves so Flair assumed it would be cool to dig in too, no Nigerian.

Well, wrestling was taken a lot more serious back then, and since Flair being a rookie hadn't asked for permission, dikk picked up his fork and stabbed Flair right through his hand

Flair talks about it on one of his DVDs, an extra.
