You shouldn't be using debit cards. Debit = your money. Credit = banks money. Which one you think the bank gonna fight for if you get scammed?

Probably no more or less dangerous than getting stolen from anywhere else.

Just think if you had a CC they'd be stealing Visa's information and not your checking account's.

If you use your debit card as a credit card, Ie: not entering/bypassing the pin number, then it is as safe as a credit card.

you should only be entering your pin number when you need to use an atm.
