I have a 400 watt sony stereo from back in the day but i love this little thing. Carry it around wherever, baterry lasts forever. Bass hits, lil thing is fukking LOUD. Its also so damn nice being in bed on my ipad or phone and having music or whatever go through it. Bluetooth has distance
I was at the bose store looking at their other stereos after i got this but they were too much, making me sad because I'm a believer now. Unfortunately when it comes to speakers sometimes it seems like you get out what you put in unless you're really savvy. Im curious about that that speaker stuntone posted because i do feel like bose is overpriced a bit. But

@Living Proof i know that it sucks dude but return your speakers. Save on your next two or three paychecks and get the soundlink or braven 850 that got posted. Sounds like they're the two competing for best in class

My brother got that one. It aint the loudest but it got good bass

THe main purposed of something being portable is...wait for it... PORTABILITY. As in to be able t move with it with EASE
You tell me how handy your WI-FI speakers will be when you are not within range of WI-FI.
Personally i bought mine for when i go camping. Ive used it at the beach and pol parties. Outside of that i really dont have much use for it.
Look, if the sh!t is gonna be at home (where WIFI is) you might as well get you a sound-bar and call it a day
