Is it me or are Customer Service departments non-existent

Trying to get to a live person is next to impossible. I understand most questions can be figured out by going online. But god damn it takes like 15 minutes just to find someone. Why the hell are my rates for everything if I'm getting less services

The voice recognition technology is pretty expensive, I think. I like to talk in funny accents to see if they understand, and they've gotten better in recent years.
