Both classics :ohlawd:

Add Straight outta Compton & AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted & you got a run that no rapper has touched to this day:salute:

Amerikka's Most Wanted and Death Certificate are both flawless classics.

The Predator while pretty damn great doesn't hit the levels of the first two. The concepts seem a little less focused than on Death Certificate and a couple of tracks towards the end feel like filler.

Saying that it's still excellent and some of the production choices were very cool, especially Muggs' beats.

I'm not mad at O/P for saying this.

Amerikkka's Most Wanted
Death Certificate
The Predator
Lethal Injection

are all 4 consecutive classics

I used to be a big Death Certificate fan, but lately Amerikkka's Most Wanted has replaced DC as my fave Cube album. That album was angry-pissed off Cube at his best.

Ppl say the Predator was the start of his decline. I say no it wasn't. It was Just as potent as DC the year prior. Lethal Injection was just the tail end of his run. And counting from Straight Outta Compton in 88 to Lethal Injection in 94 that was a helluva a run. From age 10 to 16 there's a reason why he'll always remain in my top 3. From regular Nintendo to Sega Genesis to the og Playstation he was always in the background while we played video games.

To me Cube has the GOAT run:

Straight Outta Compton
AMW
Kill at Will
Death Certificate
Lethal Injection
Bow Down

All perfect to me.

Add in the ghostwriting, involvement with Del and Da Lench Mob, FRIDAY and Boyz.

Sheeeeesh.

And within that sphere of perfection, AMW and DC reign supreme.

I consider the first three albums to being the modern day “Autobiography of Malcolm X.” All young black men should listen to these albums as part of the curriculum: Being a Black Man in America 101.

With that being said, “Death Certificate”is the masterpiece of the trio. Predator is more of a victory lap album in response to DC, with basically Cube saying “I told you”

And then on top of that, I’m pretty sure some of the songs on Predator are leftovers from DC sessions. You can easily sequence “Don’t Trust Em” into the second half of Death Certificate, because it was probably there in the first place (they even scratched out Cube saying “91”).
