Seems like most horror movie get trashed by critics or stink

seems like its the toughest genre to make a classic

Eh, I don’t really base whether a horror film is a classic or not off the words of critics and that goes for any genre.

Malignant was a mixed bag upon release and I ended up loving the hell out of it. Liked how Wan decided to change things up from the traditional haunted house flicks and showcase something different, no matter how bizarre it was.

There are still gems that drop from time to time. I felt The Night House was a legitimately great horror film that was slept on heavily last year due to Candyman releasing around the same time.
