Think about this.
Alot of times, the lesser talented or seemingly untalented people have a real love for the craft, whatever it is. They're just doing b/c they love doing it, and maybe they get a lucky break.
On the flipside, you got the ultra talented person....born with a great voice or great talent and they MAY or may not really love the artform, but know they can make money doing it. Or they have a huge ego thinking they were born special and they dont have to work as hard. If they have no true love for it, they have less creativity, put out subpar material and ultimately, if a bunch ultra talented ppl ran the entertainment biz, there'd be no growth. They'd all horde everything to themselves literally until they died, and things would get completely stagnant.
So in a way, IMO, the lesser talented people are needed to balance things out. Not saying you have to be a fan of theirs, but they are needed to push things forward....and sideways.
What say you?
