I'm tryna lose weight but my muscles are so sore after I workout and somebody told me I should drink protein shakes to help wit the soreness but I'm afraid it will have a negative effect on my weight loss.
Calculate the calories/fat/carbs/protein you should be intaking to lose weight.
Do your protein shakes fit into those guidelines with everything else you're normally eating?
If yes. keep taking them. If no, stop, or adjust things until it does.
to add on to what the last dude says any food you eat can be good or bad for you depending on what your macros and calorie intake should be. Look at every food you eat as numbers not what it is. It's all a numbers game.
