I know i was bytching about my new job, but honestly, being able to see my family every weekend is just

I miss them so much

We have fun just chilling on my Gmom stoop in the projects just bussing it up and talking shyt and flaming each other (me, my brother, cousins, close friends)

Hitting up the chinese store for chips and homemade lemonades

Lives away from ALL family I live in Jacksonville, and my closest fam is in Atlanta. Most are in the Chi though. Everyone will be at the crib next week, but I can't go cause my fukking foot is broke

Ironically, I wouldn't move back because I actually like doing my own thing. I'm pretty independent (left the crib at 17) and I LOVE this weather in the south But I usually do visit once a year cause I do miss my fam. To be honest, I mostly miss my mommy. I'm a mommas boy. I'm an only child

I feel you b. We used to have the illest parties for literally anything back then. It used to be everyone in my fam (cousins, 2nd cousins, aunts, uncles, etc.) crammed up in my 1 bedroom apt. having the best time ever.

Music blastin, bomb ass food, all us kids runnin around actin a fool while the grown folks was gettin nice and dancin in the middle of the living room.

Now....we barely get to see eachother

Everybody cooks, makes sure you take plenty food home, I can just kick back and relax without being judged, people actually happy about the positive things you doing, being there to see my little cousins grow up and getting to hangout together like we did as kids.

That sh!t is priceless for real...

Most of my fam on my mom side is still here. We usually get together as a whole on holidays.

Those are the times I most look forward too. Crackin jokes, eating good food, watching sports or a funny ass/entertaining movie, hearin my crazy drunk uncle talk about whatever goes thru his head.

Yeah, nothin like family times.
