not only was every line of dialogue pure gold, a lot is just good business advice IRL

“I don’t throw darts at a board. I bet on sure things. Read Sun-tzu, The Art of War. Every battle is won before it is ever fought.”

“The mother of all evil is speculation”

“I look at a hundred deals a day. I pick one

"What's worth doing is worth doing for money."

“The most valuable commodity I know of is information”

"You and I are the same, Darien. We are smart enough not to buy in to the oldest myth running; love. A fiction created by people to keep them from jumping out of windows."

"That's the one thing you have to remember about WASPs: they love animals and hate people."

“Money never sleeps”

"The point is, ladies and gentlemen, that greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right. Greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed, in all of its forms, greed for life, for money, for love, knowledge, has marked the upward surge in mankind."

"The richest one percent of this country owns half our country's wealth, five trillion dollars. One third of that comes from hard work, two thirds comes from inheritance, interest on interest accumulating to widows and idiot sons and what I do, stock and real estate speculation. It's bullshyt. You got ninety percent of the American public out there with little or no net worth. I create nothing. I own. We make the rules, pal. The news, war, peace, famine, upheaval, the price per paper clip. We pick that rabbit out of the hat while everybody sits out there wondering how the hell we did it. Now you're not naive enough to think we're living in a democracy, are you buddy? It's the free market. And you're a part of it. You've got that killer instinct. Stick around pal, I've still got a lot to teach you."

and my favorite:

Bud Fox: So tell me, Gordon: when does it all end, huh? How many yachts can you water-ski behind? How much is enough?

Gordon Gekko: It's not a question of enough, pal. It's a zero-sum game: somebody wins, somebody loses. Money itself isn't lost or made, it's simply, uh, transferred from one perception to another. Like magic.

Bane has a large amount of quotables

He did. All of Nolan's Batman villains did though. Look at the Joker.

"It's not about money...it’s about sending a message. Everything burns!"

"Do I really look like a guy with a plan? You know what I am? I'm a dog chasing cars. I wouldn't know what to do with one if I caught it! You know, I just...DO things. It’s the schemers that put you where you are. You were a schemer, you had plans, and uh, look where that got you. I just did what I do best. I took your plan and I turned it on itself. Look what I did, to this city with a few drums of gas and a couple of bullets. Hm? You know what, you know what I noticed? Nobody panics when things go according to plan. Even if the plan is horrifying. If tomorrow I tell the press that like a gang banger, will get shot, or a truckload of soldiers will be blown up, nobody panics, because it’s all, part of the plan. But when I say that one, little old mayor will die, well then everyone loses their minds! Introduce a little anarchy. Upset the established order, and everything becomes chaos. I’m an agent of chaos. Oh and you know the thing about chaos, it’s fair."

"Do you want to know why I use a knife? Guns are too quick. You can’t savor all the… little emotions...you see, in their last moments, people show you who they really are. So in a way, I know your friends better than you ever did. Would you like to know which of them were cowards?"

"To them, you're just a freak, like me! They need you right now, but when they don't, they'll cast you out, like a leper! You see, their morals, their code, it's a bad joke. Dropped at the first sign of trouble. They're only as good as the world allows them to be. I'll show you. When the chips are down, these... these civilized people, they'll eat each other. See, I'm not a monster. I'm just ahead of the curve."

"Oh, you. You just couldn’t let me go, could you? This is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object. You are truly incorruptible, aren’t you? Huh? You won’t kill me out of some misplaced sense of self-righteousness. And I won’t kill you because you’re just too much fun. I think you and I are destined to do this forever."

Never mind his two different stories about how he got his scars. The Joker had quotes for days. Hell, everything he said in the interrogation scene was quotable.

the ether
Tombstone is ridiculous with the one-liners. You gotta know the movie to get them, but once you got the context they're enormously quotable, especially damn near everything that Doc Holliday says.

"You gonna do somethin', or just stand there and bleed?"
"Oh. Johnny, I apologize; I forgot you were there. You may go now."
"I'm your huckleberry."
"Remember what I said about people seein' a bright light before they die? It ain't true. I can't see a damn thing."
"Smell that, Bill? Smells like someone died."
"It's not revenge he's after. It's a reckoning."
"And tell the other curs the law is coming. You tell 'em I'm coming! And Hell's coming with me you hear! Hell's coming with me!"
"I have two guns, one for each of ya."
"I already did it."
"I don't think I'm going to allow you to arrest us today, Behan."
"Already got a guilty conscience. Might as well have the money, too."
"Nonsense. By all means, move."
"Pretty much the same."
"I have not yet begun to defile myself."
"Without a meal ticket I suppose."
"I calculate not."
"Why Johnny Ringo, you look like somebody just walked over your grave."
"I wasn't."
