Is Google Music just free?

Cause. I'm like just clicking on songs while lookin at shyt kinda like how you go from one wikipedia article from the next. One second you're searching your home team's all-time record. Next thing you know you're looking at breast mutations. Yikes

But is it free? Cause I haven't been prompted to pay yet. And I"m scared that if I keep going I will...

This is my first Android phone btw. Coming from an iPhone 5. Have a G3 and its the best goddamn decision I've ever made (besides the occasional keyboard lag, but I'll deal with it).

The free version allows you to play all your local music and upload a certain amount to the cloud to stream and has the Pandora like streaming. The paid version is all access to their entire catalog and new albums as they're released.
