This is a serious question please try to take it serious.

I am aware it is not good for you but on what level.

I have not drank coffee in a long while. This is my first cup since about 6 months or so ago. I have not been getting sleep lately and im trying to stick out my day off without sleeping so i can get my sleep back on track. So i am going to drink more than one cup of coffee today.

How unhealthy is that?

How is drinking more coffee going to help you sleep? It's loaded with caffeine, which is probably jacking up your sleep pattern especially since you just started drinking it again.

I have trouble sleeping from time to time, and what I noticed that works for me is getting up earlier than normal and not taking any naps during the day. I get up at 5-6 in the morning to run, and I pass out automatically around 9, not matter what I'm doing. If that doesn't sound appealing to you, then I'm sure that melatonin (your body produces this naturally to make you sleep) will do.

Only if you put sugar in it otherwise ive seen way more positives from caffeine then negatives.

Coffee it's self isn't bad unless you develop arrhythmia's, tremors, or insomnia. There have actually been some poor studies that show it decreases the risk of Alzheimer's and certain types of cancer.

Withdrawal from the caffeine takes 3-5 days, so if you quit expect some headaches and some other nonspecfic symptoms during those days.

Another poster mentioned sugar, if you are diabetic use artificial sweeteners.

And everybody i want to tell you what i did worked great. I didnt mean if it was bad for me in a fattening way. Couple spoons of sugar is not something i am going to stress about i work out. Anyways I drank about 3 cups and left my house to a shoe convention and then just chilled with some of my friends for the rest of the day and i was out cold at about 10:30 and got up for work. It worked fine.

But i will be giving melatonin a try

I read the post, and expressed my opinion. Glad it worked for you, but you need to calm down.

I prefer green tea as compared to coffee. Green tea has several healthy benefits. I started using Green Tee extract about a year ago, along with Grape Seed extract and noticed a metabolic increase as well!
